Lineage Masters

Padmasambhava — also known as Saroruha and PadmaVajra — was born enlightened. The Lotus-Born is the supreme master of the Vajrayana tradition who carried the living transmission of Dzogchen from the tantric universities of India into the Himalayan kingdoms of Tibet and Bhutan. The Sanglingma, revealed in the 12th century by Nyangral Nyima Ozer, is the oldest life record of Padmasambhava. Discovered by King Indrabhuti as a child and named Padmavajra, he is established within the Natha tradition through his Sanskrit name Padmavajra Saroruha — chronicled by Lama Taranatha as a direct lineage disciple of Guru Gorakhnath's immediate circle. By mastering Kaya Siddhi, both Mahasiddhas transcended linear time to anchor their shared esoteric lineages across the Himalayas. Certain texts reveal that Padmasambhava lived for 1800 years and still lives on like the Natha Gurus. The nath name of Padmasambhava is Swayambhunath. This was confirmed by his last direct lineage holder in the aghor path "Byom Shankar Baba" who gave diksha to Dr. Ramnath Aghori, the Raj Guru of Nepal.

The Transmission

His transmission is not bound by time. The Padmasambhava lineage holds that the master is not a historical figure but a living presence — accessible through practice, devotion, and the direct recognition of the nature of mind. To invoke his name is to invoke the primordial state of awareness itself.

Areas of Teaching

Between Padmasambhava and the visible chain of masters stands one whose name is not spoken — a hidden master whose identity remains veiled by design. In the Vajrayana and Natha traditions, such concealment is not absence but protection. The transmission is real; the name is withheld. This is the nature of the most potent lineages: their deepest links are invisible to the uninitiated.It is a lineage acceptance that Baba Byom Shankar is the same person who taught Ding Le Mei in around 1910, at the age of 152.  And later to Dr. Ramnath Aghori at the age of around 200.

The Transmission

The hidden master received the living flame directly from the Padmasambhava stream and passed it forward without leaving a traceable mark in history. This is itself a teaching — that the most powerful transmissions leave no footprint, no institution, no record. They move like wind through an open window.

Areas of Teaching

The name belongs to Edwin John Dingle who was recognized as a rebirth of a Monk who had left his sadhana incomplete. During his years at Singapore, he came across a Yogi at his workplace who showed him a specific Pranayama to heat up the body and asked him to visit the Tibetan region of China. After an ardous journey when John Dingle reaches a temple he meets his Guru who was of around 152 years old and reveals Edwin's past life.

The Transmission

Through Ding Le Mei, the lineage of sacred breathwork passed into the hands of those who would carry it into the modern world. His teaching was precise, silent, and utterly direct — the kind of transmission that bypasses the intellect and lands in the body as lived recognition.

Swami K. S. Ramanathan received the transmission of Ding Le Mei and carried it into the Indian yogic tradition, weaving the esoteric science of breath with the depth of Vedantic and tantric understanding. He was a bridge between traditions — holding the thread of the lineage with unwavering fidelity. It is said that when Swami Ranganath was born, an astrologer had predicted that he would be a Yogi of great importance. Eventually in due course of time Swami Ramanathan could make it to the Institute of Mental Physics but a bit too late. Since he had been practicing the Eight Spiritual Breaths he was recieved with warm welcome. Wife of Edwin John Dingle bestowed him with the name of Swami Jyotirmayananda and a coat and ring of the master. It is said that Edwin John Dingle had revealed to his wife that some Yogi from India would come to officially take back the practice to the roots. Guru Jyotirmayananda possessed the profound ability to instantly channel universal life-force energy, curing countless students of chronic, incurable ailments through the precise science of breath. He could spontaneously shift the energetic atmosphere of an entire room, effortlessly awakening brilliant inner spiritual light (Jyoti) and deep meditative stillness in ordinary seekers.

His contribution was to root the breath transmission in the living soil of Indian spirituality, ensuring that the lineage did not become merely a technique but remained what it had always been — a path of direct awakening through the most intimate act of existence.

Justice L. M. Dudhat embodied the rare possibility of the householder mystic — a man of the world who carried the deepest transmission without renouncing ordinary life. His presence demonstrated that the path of the breath is not reserved for monastics but is available to any sincere seeker willing to turn inward. Justice Madhukar Laxman Dudhat (affectionately known as "Guruji" or "Baba") operated as a rare modern entity: a pragmatic Bombay High Court judge who simultaneously acted as a deeply realized, highly potent spiritual guru. While publicly teaching Brahma Vidya and ancient Tibetan breathwork frameworks, his inner circle of disciples—such as the prominent spiritual author Santosh Sachdeva—witnessed immense mystical abilities channeled through his energetic gaze and presence. Rather than teaching through mere theory, Guruji possessed the profound, supernatural capability to directly transmit spiritual energy to awaken the Kundalini Shakti in his students. His intense spiritual aura was so distinct that dedicated practitioners under his guidance reported their chakras "popping awake" seamlessly, followed by vivid, structured energetic visions. He balanced this massive cosmic energy with a completely grounded life, executing meticulous legal actions by day and orchestrating inner alchemical transformation for his disciples by night, culminating in his own conscious departure into the Universal Intelligence in September 2006.

The Transmission

He received the transmission from Swami Ramanathan and passed it to Santosh Sachdeva, ensuring the continuity of the lineage through the turbulent currents of the modern age. His life was itself a teaching — that awakening does not require withdrawal from the world.

Santosh Ma is the realized master who unveiled the breath as the supreme vehicle of mystical awakening in the modern era. Through the Esoteric School of Breathing (ESB), she transmitted the ancient science of pranayama not as a physical technique but as a direct path of initiation — a living encounter with the pranic intelligence that underlies all existence.

The Transmission

Her teaching is radical in its simplicity and devastating in its depth: the breath, fully understood and fully inhabited, is the entire path. She restored the esoteric dimensions of pranayama that had been lost or diluted in the modern yoga revival — revealing it as a science of consciousness, not a science of the lungs.

Sri Guru Rohit Arya holds the transmission of Santosh Ma and the full Padmasambhava lineage, guiding sincere students through the inner dimensions of yoga — the yoga of breath, the yoga of awareness, and the dissolution of the separate self. He founded Arya Yoga Sangha as a living container for this transmission in the modern world. Sri Guru Rohit Arya established the Arya Yoga Sangha formally in 2013 after attaining Self-Realization. He is the creator of the celebrated The Sacred India Tarot deck and book, which stands as the first comprehensive tarot system based entirely on classical Indian epics and Vedic mythology.  He authored Vaastu: The Indian Art of Placement, notably recognized as the very first book on the subject of Vastu to be formally published in the West. It has since been translated into languages including Spanish, Hebrew, Greek, and Czech.  His book The Money Tarot Book was the first serious, structured treatise on the esoteric application of tarot cards published locally in India. He co-authored the book Sacred Flames alongside his guru, Santosh Sachdeva, detailing inner fire sacrifices and energetic processes.
